The University of Erfurt has presented its subproject "Education for Sustainable Development" (ESD) as part of the KLIMA-N project at the "TraNHSform" summit hub organised by the German Society for Sustainability at Universities. More than 35 German universities came together at the event to present their sustainability initiatives and various approaches to integrating sustainability issues into research, teaching and administrative structures.
The event focussed on innovative strategies that promote sustainability at universities. The whole-institution approach, as the holistic implementation of the concept of education for sustainable development, was emphasised as central to this.
