Froebelian Pasts, Present & Futures

The IFS-D is a non-profit, recognized, registered association that has set itself the task of demonstrating and disseminating the topicality of Froebel's pedagogy for education, upbringing, science and politics through broad discussion of his life's work. Every two years, the association organises a conference with international guests who deal with central questions of Froebel pedagogy in a researching manner and in relation to their practical application.

In 2025, the conference will be organized by the team of the Chair of Inclusive Teaching Research with a focus on learning and the staff of the Fröbel Research Center.

Early Bird: 350€

Standard: 400€

The fee for the conference includes regular drinks and food during the conference as well as dinner on Friday. The discounted price is valid for registration by 29.03.2025.

In addition, on the sidelines of the conference, the exhibition "Rethinking Froebel", which is organized by the JugendKunstschule Schweina, can be visited. 
The FRÖBELmobil is a mobile art school that invites you to get to know Fröbel's basic ideas in a playful way.
