Pragmatist business ethics

Building on the systematic reflections on pragmatist social and business ethics in my habilitation thesis ("Ehrenamt verstehen"), my new project aims to further develop elements of pragmatist business ethics. In doing so, the action-theoretical foundation will be given special consideration and the significance of emotions, physicality, creativity, routines, situations, patterns of interpretation and collective narratives will be taken into account. These considerations will be developed on the basis of a specific complex of business ethics problems - that of corruption - a topic that has become a particular focus of public and academic attention in the last twenty years.
