Getting to the Centre for Transcultural Studies

Arriving by Foot from the Train Station (approx. 15 minutes)
Walk north along Bahnhofstraße and turn into Parkallee. Follow Parkallee to the driveway to Schloßplatz (opposite the Herzogliches Museum) and walk towards the Palace. Cross the Schlossplatz; the Pagenhaus is on the east side at the rear of the Palace.

Arriving by Tram
You can reach the Centre for Transcultural Studies from the train station by getting on one of the trams (lines 1, 2 and 4) at Bahnhofsplatz. Get off at the stop "Orangerie". Cross Friedrichstraße and continue walking for about 100 metres. Turn left at Ekhofplatz. Follow Philosophenweg, which then becomes Friedrich-Jacobs-Straße. After a few hundred metres, the Pagenhaus will be on the eastern side of the Friedenstein Palace, where the Centre for Transcultural Studies is located.

Arriving by Car
The Centre for Transcultural Studies does not have its own parking lots. Free parking is available opposite the "Hotel am Schlosspark", but capacity is limited. Paid parking is available on the south side of Friedenstein Palace. In the surroundings of the Centre for Transcultural Studies there are further parking possibilities, but these are limited to two hours. Please use a parking ticket or indicator of your time of arrival respectively.
