Tuesday Talks
Each semester, the Centre invites all interested individuals to attend the “Tuesday Talks” series. This semester, we are joining the initiative of a lecture series titled "De-Collecting," in collaboration with the joint project "Cultural Techniques of Collecting." Additionally, we are cooperating with the Erfurt Chair of History of Science, the Göttingen Chair of Modern History, as well as SCIFA Science Facilitation (Berlin/Gotha), and KOLUMBA, the Art Museum of the Archdiocese of Cologne (Cologne).

Mappings: History of Knowledge and New History of Cartography
The Mappings Seminar explores recent research in spatial history, as well as the history of knowledge and cartography. This research seminar is aimed at graduate students working on their Master’s thesis or conducting research on the Gotha collections, with a particular focus on the Perthes Collection. Everyone interested, including students in the early stages of their Master’s studies, is warmly invited.
