Tuesday Talks

Each semester, the Centre for Transcultural Studies invites all interested individuals to attend the “Tuesday Talks” series. Last winter semester, we collaborated with the Chair of History of Science and the DFG Research Group “Voluntariness.”

Sea Atlas

Mappings: History of Knowledge and New History of Cartography

The Mappings Seminar explores recent research in spatial history, as well as the history of knowledge and cartography. This research seminar is aimed at graduate students working on their Master’s thesis or conducting research on the Gotha collections, with a particular focus on the Perthes Collection. Everyone interested, including students in the early stages of their Master’s studies, is warmly invited.
