Mappings: History of Knowledge and New History of Cartography

In the 2026/2027 winter semester, the Mappings seminar will continue, presenting recent research on the history of space and cartography. The research seminar is aimed at advanced students who have begun their own research on the Gotha collections – in particular the Perthes Collection – as part of their Master’s thesis or doctoral research.
