Short CV Alberto Cevolini

Alberto Cevolini is professor of sociology at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. He was fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the University of Constance (2010-12) and visiting professor at Bielefeld University (2019-20). He is senior researcher responsible for the sub-project on “Personalised Insurance” in the main research project PREDICT on “The Future of Prediction: The Social Consequences of Algorithmic Forecast in Insurance, Medicine and Policing” at the University of Bologna (PREDICT is funded by an ERC Advanced Grant, n. 833749, P.I. Prof. Elena Esposito). Alberto Cevolini has extensively published on social system theory, intellectual history, and insurance from a sociological viewpoint.
