Positioning within the University of Erfurt
The institute is primarily embedded in the university’s key research area "Education, School, and Behaviour". However, due to its broad thematic scope and global network, it also connects with other fields, particularly the key research area “Religion, Society, and World Relations”. Additionally, clear links exist to "Knowledge, Spaces, and Media" given the role of media in shaping knowledge and behaviour.
With its empirical focus, the institute is closely associated with the Erfurt Lab. For scientific exchange on current research projects, institute members regularly meet at the colloquium of the graduate program of the Center for Empirical Research in Economics and Behavioral Sciences (CEREB).
