Research group "Policies of Truth. Erfurt Research Center for Political Epistemologies"

The starting point for research on policies of truth is the observation that the debates surrounding the so-called "post-truth era" call for a return to truth as a point of reference for a new scientific and political seriousness. Research group "Cultural Techniques of Collecting"

The "Cultural Techniques of Collecting" research group provides a forum for the diverse activities and research relating to collecting and the various collections at the University of Erfurt. The aim of the joint work in the research group is to develop a theoretical perspective on collecting as a cultural technique. Research group "Erfurt SpatioTemporality Research"

Since the "spatial turn" has gained academic attention, many projects, particularly in cultural studies, are currently focussing on spatial perspectives. The majority of these reflections are one-dimensional or rather three-dimensional, as the temporal perspective is often ignored. The Erfurt SpatioTemporality Research Centre has set itself the task of scientifically examining both categories and linking them.
