Semester Programme

Lectures and Conferences

Every semester, the Research Centre invites all those who are interested to attend guest lectures and conferences. Renowned scholars from Germany and abroad give insights into their research or present their current publications. In addition to lectures by early modern historians, topics from the fields of philosophy and political science, from the history of ideas, art, books and botany are also represented. In addition, the Gotha Research Centre organises conferences on relevant research topics in the history of knowledge, bringing together international experts from various disciplines.

The lectures and the conference programme are aimed at members of the University of Erfurt and all other academically interested people.
