Application

Applicants are requested to enclose the following documents with their application:

  1. Application form (PDF)
  2. Curriculum Vitae
  3. Short project outline (3-5 pages) with a justification of why the stay in Gotha, Halle and Wolfenbüttel is necessary to carry out the work project (indication of the holdings to be consulted)
  4. Copies of certificates
  5. If applicable, list of publications
  6. Signed consent to the processing of personal data (PDF).

The application documents must be submitted in full and in a PDF file (max. 5 MB) in the above-mentioned order to forschungszentrum.gotha@uni-erfurt.de.

For the scholarships, two current expert reports on the project are also required (please note the names of both reviewers on the application form); these must be submitted separately by the reviewer by e-mail by the deadline.

Applications for the scholarship can be submitted in German and English by 31 October 2023 , quoting the keyword "Postdoctoral researcher for East Central European academics in Gotha, Halle and Wolfenbüttel", to: forschungszentrum.gotha@uni-erfurt.de. Application documents can also be sent in encrypted form. Information on this can be found below.
