After the conference

How can I get my travel allowance?

If you work at a foreign research institution, we have applied for a travel grant from the DFG for you. In order to be able to claim this grant, we need the completed travel expenses form, which you will find in your folder, as well as the original tickets and invoices as proof of your travel and accommodation expenses.

Should the contributions be published?

Yes, the contributions should be published in a volume of the series Frühneuzeit-Impulse, the publication series of the working group „Frühe Neuzeit“ in the Association of German Historians. A style sheet can be found here; ideally, you should align your text with this as early as possible to speed up publication.

The following time frame is planned for processing - very ambitious, indeed, but intended to get things started:

  • Submission of the contribution to the session chair by 15 December 2024
  • Comments by the chair by 31 January 2024
  • Revision by the author by 28 February 2025
  • Forwarding of the section‘s contributions to volume editors Martin Mulsow & Markus Meumann by 15 March 2025
  • Comments by editors by 30 April 2025 if necessary
  • Time for 2nd Revision (if necessary) until 15 June 2025
  • Editing of the contributions by 31 August 2025
  • Return and approval for typesetting by the author by 30 September 2025
  • Typesetting by 15 November
  • Author corrections 1 by 15 December 2025
  • Return of proofs by 15 January 2026
  • Author corrections 2 and approval for printing by 31 January 2026
  • Final Imprimatur by volume editors by 28 February 2026

Of course, you are welcome to contact us and arrange a later submission date for your panel.
