IT user forum

The IT User Forum offers the users of the University Computer and Media Centre (URMZ) a platform to present their problems and requirements and is also an opportunity for the URMZ to provide information directly and to coordinate needs and offers with the users.

The tasks of the IT user forum are in particular

  • Discussion and recommendation of IT user regulations, security concept and IT service catalogue
  • Recording user requirements for the IT infrastructure (services and support services)
  • Passing on information on upcoming projects in the IT environment and their status to users
  • Advising and commenting on software selection at the university, including on the topic of standardisation (e.g. software packages and versions used)

Members

The members represent the interests of the respective faculty or institution and also report to its committees.
