War, crises, climate, disinformation - what does security actually mean for Europe and for us today?

On 3 December 2025 at 16:00, the President invites you to the discussion event "Security in Europe?" in the Audimax.

Professor Dr Sophia Hoffmann (University of Erfurt) and Colonel Klaus Glaab (Thuringia State Command) will shed light on Europe's security policy situation from different perspectives - scientifically sound and practical from the point of view of the Bundeswehr.

Alexander Kerl (Student Council FH Erfurt) will lead the discussion. Your questions and thoughts are expressly welcome.

If you would like to continue the dialogue afterwards, you are cordially invited to join us for hot drinks and music at the students' winter market on campus.
