International politics appears increasingly fragmented: new wars, shifting alliances, emerging powers and competing visions of a global order. What does this mean for the future of international relations?

Doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers from the C2PO and EIPCC graduate centres invite you to a conversation reflecting on the current changes in world politics.

International politics appears increasingly fragmented: New wars, changing alliances, emerging powers and competing visions of global orders characterise the present. What do these developments mean for the future of international relations and how do they affect our own academic and social environment?

Doctoral candidates and postdocs from the C2PO and EIPCC graduate centres cordially invite you to an open discussion event in which we would like to reflect together on the current changes in world politics. The focus is not only on analytical discussion, but also on the exchange of personal perspectives.

The event is expressly intended as a space in which participants can contribute their questions, assessments and possible concerns or fears, especially against the background of different countries of origin and individual positions. The aim is to make this diversity of experiences visible and to engage in a respectful dialogue.

At the same time, we see the event as a form of "community care": In a time that many find unsettling or even threatening, we want to create a framework that enables mutual attention, listening and care without falling into mere self-centredness. Rather, it is about a reflective, solidary exchange within our academic community.

All interested parties are cordially invited to take part in this open dialogue.
