Dr. Hasnain Bokhari Hosts Workshops on Artificial Intelligence and Research Colloquium with Doctoral Candidates at University of Punjab, Pakistan

Lead of Internationalization and Digitalization at Brandt School, Dr. Bokhari, Enriches Academic Discourse at Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) in Lahore.

In March 2024, Dr. Hasnain Bokhari was invited by Prof. Rubeena Zakar, Director of the Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) at the University of Punjab in Lahore to impart invaluable knowledge and guidance to both graduate and postgraduate students on the intricacies of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Research Methodologies. Over the course of a week-long visit, Dr. Bokhari conducted a series of engaging workshops on AI for over 100 students with the latest advancements and applications in this burgeoning field.

Punjab University Visit

Beyond the lecture halls, Dr. Bokhari also interacted with the M.Phil students, where he delved into the nuances of research topics, field data collection challenges, and the art of selecting appropriate research methodologies. Moreover, Dr. Bokhari, alongside Dr. Zakar facilitated a research colloquium for the doctoral candidates' with insightful discussions and scholarly exchanges. 

The Institute of Social and Cultural Studies (ISCS) has long been a cherished partner in Dr. Bokhari's academic endeavors, particularly in his project on Social Media conducted at the University of Erfurt. Notably, students from Brandt School also found representation in this collaborative project through participation in summer and fall schools at ISCS and University of Erfurt. During his visit, Dr. Bokhari seized the opportunity to also engage with the core faculty of ISCS, fostering discussions on emerging trends in internationalization and the boundless learning opportunities presented by the digital age.
