Deadlines for the MPP class of 2021-2023 (student intake October 2021)

  • May 31, 2021 for international applicants from non-EU countries (and EU nationals applying for a scholarship, such as the Haniel Stipend)
  • September 1, 2021 for applicants from EU countries (+ EFTA)

We strongly encourage everyone to apply before the priority deadline of February 28, 2021. Experience has shown that an early application dramatically increases your chances for starting and studying the MPP successfully, as you will have time for the visa application, for finding means of financing, etc.

The application period for the student intake October 2021 will prospectively open January 4, 2021. Please check this website on a regular basis for updates.

The admissions committee reviews the applications to the program on a rolling basis.

If your nationality requires a student visa in order to enter Germany, we strongly recommend that you apply as early as possible, so you have adequate time to obtain your visa. Please keep in mind that, depending on the country you are from, visa processing might take up to 3 months or even longer. Please check with the local German embassy how long the visa processing would be expected to take.

The MPP program officially begins each year on October 1st (whereas the lecture period starts in mid-October).
