Karoline Färber, PhD

Karoline Färber, PhD AKC, is a postdoctoral researcher at the Professorship for International Politics and Conflict Studies.

As part of the KNOWPRO project, she studies knowledge production in German peace and security policy. She also researches feminist foreign policy as well as diplomacy and gender, race, and class. Karoline’s main empirical focus is on Germany. Karoline’s research is situated at the intersection of ethnography (particularly institutional ethnography), feminist international relations, and international political sociology. Karoline is a member of the Center for Political Practices and Orders (C2PO) and the GenDip network on gender and diplomacy.
