Jens-Christian Wagner is a historian specialising in Nazi history and has conducted research on, among other things, the Mittelbau-Dora concentration camp. Having held senior positions at several memorial sites, he has been Director of the Buchenwald and Mittelbau-Dora Memorials Foundation since 2020, as well as a professor at Friedrich Schiller University in Jena.

The lecture is part of the University of Jena’s ‘History Instead of Myths’ project. Funded by the EVZ Foundation. In cooperation with the Hist4Dem network and the Thuringian State Agency for Political Education.
