Season's greetings from the Presidium

Dear colleagues, students, and friends of the University of Erfurt,

The campus is becoming noticeably quieter these days as a busy year draws to a close. It has been a year full of challenges – both small and large, for the global community and for the university. We therefore wish you and your loved ones a restful holiday season and a peaceful end to the year.

Let’s look forward to 2026 with confidence and maintain our commitment to respectful and cordial cooperation. We hope that you will find peace and renewed strength over the New Year period. Energy for everything that awaits us in the coming year – both professionally and privately.

And we would like to say thank you once again – to all those who, in 2025, contributed with great commitment and perhaps sometimes even beyond their own limits to shaping and advancing our university.
