Call for Papers: 7. Workshop History of the Sciences of the Psyche

The Forum History of the Human Sciences is again organizing a writing workshop on the history of the sciences of the psyche on March 18-19, 2024, in Erfurt, Germany, and invites submissions of abstracts by November 30, 2023!

7th Writing Workshop History of the Sciences of the Psyche.

An event of the Forum History of Human Sciences in cooperation with the University of Erfurt and more recently with the University of Lübeck as well as the History of Psychology Section of the German Psychological Society (DGPs).

For the seventh time, the Forum History of Human Sciences, in cooperation with the Chair for the History of Science at the University of Erfurt, is organizing a writing workshop for ongoing projects on the history and theory of psychology and related fields of knowledge (psychotherapy, psychiatry, anthropology, etc.). The goal is constructive work on essays and chapter drafts for book projects, dissertations or theses, which are discussed together with with experienced scientists.

There is news! We are very happy about two new cooperation partners: The Chair for the History of Knowledge in Psychology and Psychotherapy at the University of Lübeck and the History of Psychology Section of the German Psychological Society (DGPs) will co-host the Writing Workshop with immediate effect and support it in the coming years. Researchers in the field of psy-science can look forward to even more intensive networking and exchange opportunities within the framework of the Writing Workshop.

All interested parties are invited to apply by November 30, 2023 with an abstract of half a page and a short CV by email to verena.lehmbrock@uni-erfurt.de. Manuscripts of accepted abstracts will be commented on during the workshop and discussed afterwards. In order to allow for a reasonable turnaround time, the Draft papers by March 1, 2024 at the latest. Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for all active participants.
