Auf dem Weg zu einer Welt frei von systemischer Unterdrückung

In the 2026/27 winter semester, the University of Erfurt is once again organising a lecture series in collaboration with the Thuringian State Parliament and the Thüringer Allgemeine newspaper. Against the backdrop of political developments in many countries – not only in the Western Hemisphere – the theme this time is "Die neue Lust am Autoritären – Warum Menschen wieder nach einfachen Wahrheiten verlangen".

The series kicks off on 11 November with a talk by bestselling author and political scientist Emilia Zenzile Roig. The title of her lecture is “Auf dem Weg zu einer Welt frei von systemischer Unterdrückung”. The event begins at 6.15 pm in lecture hall 2 of the Centre for Communication and Information (KIZ) on the University of Erfurt campus. Doors open at 6 pm.

Further lectures will take place in December and January. Further details will follow.
