Dr. des. Sabine Best

Background

In spring 2022, Sabine Best joined the department of Health Communication as a research associate and is supporting the team in research, teaching, and study advising. Her research interests lie in advertising research – her dissertation project focusses on innovative attempts at persuasion and effects that counter persuasion. In her master's thesis at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar she dealt with the question of how product placement affects its media host. After her studies, Sabine Best worked as a research assistant and study advisor at Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Subsequently, she conducted empirical studies on digitalization in the skilled trades for the Chamber of Crafts Erfurt. Since 2018, she has worked as a project coordinator on the BMBF-funded project "Makerspace Lichtwerkstatt Jena" for the University of Applied Sciences Mainz.
