Congratulations to Daban Jaff

Daban Jaff received the Best PhD Presentation Award for his poster on "Polarity and Metaphor: A Corpus Study of Holocaust Oral Histories" at the Researching and Applying Metaphor Association conference!

This is Daban's third time attending and presenting in RaAM. The Association for Researching and Applying Metaphor (RaAM) is the biggest international community of metaphor researchers; it was established in 1994. RaAM organizes conferences and specialized seminars, both held every two years. This year's specialized seminar was hosted by the IUSS in Pavia, Italy.
