Elisabeth Sievert

Background

Elisabeth Sievert studied Psychology and Health Sciences in Hamburg and Maastricht. Her research focuses on medical decision-making, particularly on decisions with social externalities (e.g., vaccines and antibiotics). Her dissertation project deals with the role of (dis)confirmed expectations on subsequent decisions and the reduction of informational imbalances to enable adaptive decisions both from an individual and public good perspective. More broadly, her interests include a variety of topics on the intersection of health psychology, behavioral economics, and global health.
