Biography

Laura Gorriahn is Research Associate and Coordinator of the Global Justice Clinic. Prior, she held positions at the Humboldt Universität Berlin, the Cluster of Excellence “Contestations of the Liberal Scripts” (SCRIPTS), and Freie Universität Berlin. Laura was a Visiting Scholar at Princeton University (Fall 2024) and the European University Institute (Fall-Winter 2022/23). Laura holds an M.A. “Human Rights and Democratisation” from the European Inter-University Centre Venice and the Eric-Castren Institute of International Law and Human Rights Helsinki and studied Political Science, History and German Studies at the University of Freiburg and Trinity College Dublin (M.A. equivalent). His research interests include democratic theory, protest, and migration.
