Changed opening hours during the lecture-free period

University Library
The library remains open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 10 pm. From 2 March, however, opening hours will be reduced at weekends (Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday closed).
The library will be closed on 21 March and from 3 to 6 April (Easter holidays).
The usual opening hours will apply again starting from 7 April.

Department 1: Registrar's Office
The regular opening hours of the Student Advisory Service also apply during the lecture-free period:
in person: Mon to Thu from 12 to 3 pm and by appointment
by phone: Mon to Fri from 9 to 11.15 am

University Computer and Media Centre (URMZ)
From 23 February, the Service Desk of the IT Support (at KIZ) will be open Monday to Thursday from 9 to 11 am and from 1 to 3 pm and on Fridays from 9 to 11 am. You can reach the student identity card (thoska) office by prior arrangement by phone.

The colleagues at the University Computer and Media Centre can be reached by telephone (+49 361 737 5454) from Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 12 noon aas well as from 1 to 4 pm and on Fridays from 8 am to 12.15 pm.

The media and special technology department can only be contacted by telephone or e-mail. With the exception of specialised technology, all loans are made via the Service Desk of the IT Support.

eduroom – Workshop for Media Education
The workshop for media education is open on Tuesdays from 1 to 4 pm during the lecture-free period. In addition, appointments can be made by e-mail to medien.bildung@uni-erfurt.de.

Language Centre
In the week from 16 to 20 February 2026, the Service Desk (C03, Room 338) will be open from Monday to Thursday from 8 am to 3 pm and on Friday from 8 am to 12 noon. The desk will be closed from 23 February to 2 April.

Gotha Research Library
Mon to Fri 9 am to 5 pm
Perthes Forum: Mon to Fri 9 am to 3 pm

Facilities of the Student Services Organisation

• The cafeteria is open from February 16 to March 28 from 9 am to 3 pm.
• The Glasbox is closed from 16 February to 28 March.
• The café "Hörsaal 7" is also closed from 16 February to 28 March.

All other service facilities of the Student Services Organisation will remain open as usual:

• info point in the cafeteria building
• general social counselling
• psychosocial counselling
• Campus-Kinderland day care centre
• Räuberhöhle (flexible childcare)
