Opening and closing times at the turn of the year

Please note our opening and closing times around the turn of the year:

The library will be closed from 24 December to 1 January.

On Monday (22 December), Tuesday (23 December) and Friday (2 January) the University Library will be open from 9 am to 8 pm (service hours at the counters: 10 am to 4 pm).
Self-borrowing and return of media is possible until 8 pm.

From 3 January 2025 we will be open again with the usual opening hours. 

We wish you a Merry Christmas, relaxing holidays and a healthy, peaceful and happy 2026.

Please note:

  • Please follow the general rules for behavior in the library.
  • Group study rooms can be booked (with login of the University of Erfurt) for max. 4 hours in advance via the reservation system UB-Raum.
  • Library stock, copying technology and free reading places are accessible to all users without registration.
