33. Anual Conference of the Society for the Scientific Study of Reading in Rotterdam

Last week members from the Graduate Centre 'Mastering Language' attended the 33. Anual Conference of the Society for the Scientific Study of Reading (SSSR) in Rotterdam.

Our team presented posters about:

"Lexical stress in polysyllabic words: An eye-tracking study of enriched script in sentence reading" (Dr. Jana Hasenäcker),
"Comprehension of written text: Assessment of inference making in aphasia with an adapted version of the MAKRO Screening (Büttner, 2018), subtest inferences" (Dr. Sarah Maria Thumbeck),
"Preschool training of morphological awareness with vs. without print exposure: Effects on morphological awareness and transfer to other linguistic prerequisites of literacy acquisition" (Konstantin Mrosk),
"Syllabic markers in early reading instructions in Germany: Prevalence and types of use" (Philip Kehl & Miriam Grunwald) and
"Preschool linguistic and non-linguistic rhythm processing as a predictor of reading and spelling skills in elementary school?" (Pauline Credo).
