We look forward to sharing and discussing our news and stories with you. We understand diversity as a great added value and wish for a tolerant, open and polite interaction in our daily dealings - also in social media. Please understand that we may delete posts that are discriminatory, commercial, or inappropriate in form or content without comment.

Would you like to use our platforms to reach our students and employees? Contact us in advance. We will try to find solutions. However, we also aim to entertain our "fans and followers" and do not see our platforms as an advertising space for third parties. We therefore ask for your understanding if we have to reject your request.

Data protection

As part of its communication measures, the Willy Brandt School at the University of Erfurt also operates pages in social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIN, Twitter and Youtube. The social media work serves public relations as well as fast and target group-oriented communication with members of the university as well as the interested public. In this context, we also process personal data ("legitimate interest" according to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO). We kindly ask you not to submit application documents or otherwise sensitive data via these channels but to use our application platform for this purpose or to contact us via e-mail.

We do not use social media plug-ins on this website. Nevertheless, we would like to point out that providers such as Facebook already collect personal data when you call up the site, e.g. by clicking on links, which can be used technically to build up a personal profile. It is irrelevant whether you are a member of the social network and logged in. The University of Erfurt has no influence on the collection of data by the social networks. Please note the data protection information of the respective providers.

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that when using the social media services of the Meta Group (Facebook and Instagram), data security cannot be guaranteed under European law. To read or watch our posts on social media services (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Youtube), you do not need an own account. All relevant information about studies, research, people or news is also available in compliance with data protection regulations via our website www.brandtschool.de. News articles and blog posts can be subscribed to. Important information for students is mainly shared via Moodle.
