Public presentation of the open access publication "Policy Innovations from the Global South: Will the North Ever Learn?" with Luicy Pedroza (El Colegio de Mexico), Hasnain Bokhari and Achim Kemmerling (both Will Brandt School of Public Policy)

Information from the organisers

The book comprises cases studies from successful policy innovations in the Global South ranging from microfinance to plastic waste management, e-government or care policies. We ask whether these innovations were ignored or taken up by governments in the Global North, and if so how. The book bears insightful lessons for those interested in inter- and transnational policy learning and diffusion, but also for those interested in global knowledge production and asymmetries in North-South relationships.

The event takes place hybrid. You can take part on site in the "Weltbeziehungen" research building and digitally via Webex.
