The Willy Brandt School took farewell from 56 graduating Public Policy students of the Master of Public Policy class of 2021-2023. They have shown exemplary dedication and commitment to their studies, paving the way for promising careers in public service and governance.

During the ceremony, several deserving students were honored with the Brandt School Graduation Prizes, recognizing their exceptional achievements and contributions to the program and society. We are proud to announce this year's recipients of the awards:

The Dietmar Herz Award was given to Emmanuel Baba Aduku, an MPP student who best demonstrates the commitment, enthusiasm and spirit of service to government exemplified by our founding director, Prof. Dr. Dietmar Herz.

Fatima Farooq Murawat was recognized with the Director’s Certificate Of Merit for her outstanding academic achievements during her Master's studies.

The Excellence In Service And Leadership Award went to Mary Margaret "Molly" Hall, as she demonstrated tireless engagement for fellow students and a sense of service to society in general. She was selected based on nominations and votes by her fellow students.

These remarkable graduates have not only excelled academically but have also contributed significantly to fostering a sense of community and cooperation within the Willy Brandt School.

As they step into the next phase of their journeys, the Willy Brandt School is confident that all our Public Policy graduates will continue to make meaningful contributions to the field of public policy and governance, creating positive change in society.
