Done! University of Erfurt receives system accreditation

It is a milestone for the university: with the certificate dated 27 September 2021, the university is now system-accredited. This means that it has proven that it can ensure the quality of its degree programmes itself and is allowed to assess and evaluate its degree programmes itself.

Accreditation is important in that it ensures and proves a certain quality of the respective study programme. "It was a long road," says Andreas Höfelmayr, Head of Quality Assurance in Studies and Teaching. "And it was also quite hard in places. But it's done, and we're proud of that."
