For the past eight years, the Stifterverband and the Thuringian Ministry have jointly offered the Fellowships for Innovations in Digital University Teaching programme. These fellowships encourage the development of digitally enhanced teaching and assessment methods, such as MOOCs, blended learning, simulations, and AI integration in Thuringen universities. They also encourage collaboration across universities, helping to share new teaching strategies and embed digital education into academic programmess. Following a competitive selection process, ten new projects from Thuringian universities were awarded fellowships this year.
Over the next two years, Dr Bokhari's project will produce digital learning materials for public policy, incorporating AI into coursework. Students will evaluate AI reliability, produce instructional videos, and participate in Moodle-based exams and gamified research exercises.
This marks Dr Bokhari’s second fellowship. He previously earned the Computational Social Science in Public Policy fellowship in 2023. His earlier work resulted in four self-paced courses on computational social sciences, available to Brandt School students via Moodle. Each course includes a capstone project using real-world datasets.
The Brandt School congratulates Dr Bokhari on this achievement and looks forward to the innovative outcomes of his project.
