Quickly get into your car, grab your bike or jump on a train, then off you go. The mobility and travel habits that surround us so routinely today, were very different in the early modern period. In this German-language interview, PD Dr. Ackermann and the history student Nils Sobecki und Richard Wacker discuss travelling in early modern times. They chat about the challenges and everyday practices required in historical travel - and what it feels like to have been part of a seminar that was transformed into an exhibition and displayed here on campus.
