In his lecture "Faschismus und Kolonialismus. Als transimperial verflochtene Projekte (1920er–2020er Jahre)", Dr Florian Wagner shows historical and contemporary connections between colonial and fascist forms of rule.

"Faschismus und Kolonialismus – als transimperial verflochtene Projekte (1920er–2020er Jahre)”
Dr Florian Wagner sheds light on the close historical interdependencies of fascism and colonialism and examines their transimperial dynamics from the early 20th century to the present day. The focus is on ideological, political and social continuities as well as global perspectives on domination, violence and the culture of remembrance.

All interested parties are cordially invited. The event is held in German and begins at 6 pm. It will take place in seminar room 03.08 in C18 (formerly teaching building 4). It is part of the nationwide action week “Wissenschaft gegen Faschismus” (Science against Fascism).
