The 2025 Essay Prize – Submissions Now Open!

Got a paper you’re especially proud of? Don’t keep it hidden on your hard drive – share it with us!

We’re now accepting submissions for the 2025 Essay Prize, awarded each year for an outstanding student paper in American or British Literature written during the  academic year  2024/25 (October 2024 – September 2025). The winning essay will be announced in December, and the winner will receive a 30€ book voucher sponsored by buchbar Erfurt.  Perfect for adding something special to your reading list!

To take part, simply send a PDF copy of your paper to verena.ferda@uni-erfurt.de by November 14, 2025.
