Sundaram C. Karumuttu

Short Biography

Sundaram C. Karumuttu is based in Chennai, India. He is the founder-director of two Public Policy think tanks in India – Indian Institute of Public Policy (IIPP), focusing on policy issues concerning India, and the  EU – India Cooperation Forum (EICF), focusing on the EU-India relationship. In addition, he is the President of an NGO called SODEWS (Society for Development of Economically Weaker Sections), which works on education, health and rural development. He is also a feature and documentary filmmaker. Sundaram studied Public Policy in Willy Brandt School of Public Policy. He belongs to the second batch of the school. He writes a blog called theeveroptimist.wordpress.com about developments in the EU.
