As part of its Competence-oriented personnel development for academics, the University of Erfurt is inviting all its academics to a best practice forum entitled "Advice, treatment, knowledge transfer – how science becomes socially effective" on Tuesday, 21 April.

In addition to short inputs from scientists, the aim is to exchange experiences with the transfer of their own research into society.

The following speakers will share their experiences on this day

  • Professor Cornelia Betsch (Faculty of Philosophy | Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour);
  • Dr Andreas Braune (Weimar Rendez-vous mit der Geschichte);
  • Professor Sophia Hoffmann (Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences);
  • Professor  Sandra Neumann (Faculty of Education);
  • Professor Michael Riegner (Faculty of Economics, Law and Social Sciences);
  • Professor Myriam Wijlens (Faculty of Catholic Theology).

The event will be moderated by Professor André Brodocz, Vice President for Research and Academic Careers at the University of Erfurt. Afterwards, all participants are invited to a small get-together.
