Welcome to Erfurt! Offers for new students

To help you get off to a good start with your studies, we have put together a range of resources to help you familiarise yourself with using the Erfurt University Library.

During the Student Orientation Days from 5 to 8 October 2026, library induction sessions will be held, during which we will provide information about the library’s key services and facilities and offer an initial introduction to the library through a short tour. The sessions are organised by the student tutors.

To complement this, there is the ‘Information for First-Year Students’ webpage, which brings together the most important information about the library specifically for new students.
