Application

Prerequisite for admission to the graduate centre Glocal Religiosities is an affiliation as a doctoral candidate or postdoctoral researcher at the University of Erfurt. In addition, at least one supervisor of your research project must be a member of the programme.

If these requirements are met, we look forward to receiving your informal application for membership of the Centre. Applications are reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Please attach the following documents in a pdf document in the following order:

• Letter of motivation for doctorate or research as a postdoctoral researcher within the graduate centre (max. 1 page)

• Academic curriculum vitae

• Short synopsis of the planned dissertation or postdoc project with reference to the main topic of the programme (max. 5 pages)

• Abstract of the last qualification thesis (usually the Master's or diploma thesis) of max. 3 pages.

• Certificates of academic degrees

It is possible to obtain initial feedback on the exposé outline before submitting the application. Please contact one of the supervisors or the spokesperson of the programme. Please note that the graduate centre does not award funded doctoral positions or its own doctoral scholarships. If you have any questions about financial support for a doctoral project, please contact the research department.
