The University of Erfurt, in collaboration with the "Jewish Life in Erfurt" network, is once again hosting a public lecture on Wednesday 9 December. Dr Ronen Pinkas, who is currently holding the professorship for Jewish Studies at the University of Erfurt, will speak on the topic "Wunder und Autorität in der rabbinischen Literatur: Philosophische Betrachtungen zum Chanukka-Wunder" (Miracles and Authority in Rabbinic Literature: Philosophical Reflections on the Hanukkah Miracle).
