Digital "newcomer" offers lots of services for study and research

The Erfurt University Library announces a digital "new addition": ProQuest Academic Complete, an almost inexhaustible e-book portal with currently more than 200,000 academic e-books. The comprehensive collection includes publications from a broad international range of academic publishers with a high degree of title stability.

Thematically, ProQuest Academic Complete offers broad access:

  •     Business & Economics (26,561 e-books)
  •     Science & Technology (38,862 e-books)
  •     The Arts (11,376 e-books)
  •     History (40,408 e-books)
  •     Literature & Language (29,667 e-books)
  •     Law (13,569 e-books)
  •     Health & Medicine (17,836 e-books)
  •     Religion & Philosophy (20,328 e-books)
  •     Social Sciences (35,800 e-books)
  •     Education (10,900 e-books)

The library's new service includes unlimited e-book downloads without restrictions for all titles. This is a big step for students and academics towards optimising their teaching, learning and research processes and results. The e-books can now be found in the Discovery search portal and in the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).
