Manuscripts, incunabula and old prints

Academic research using manuscripts, incunabula and old prints in the original is possible in the special reading room.  Heart of the collection is the Bibliotheca Amploniana, consisting of more than 10.000 single documents in 979 volumes. Furthermore the holdings include 636 incunabula and about 50.000 prints from the 16^th – 19^th centuries.

Specialized librarians are happy to assist you in your research.
