Step-by-step instruction

  1. You have changed your initial password of your user account (you can change it via the user portal )!
  2. Connect your device to the Wi-Fi "gast-ue" (go to "Cancel" when logging in!) 
  3. Open Safari and go to the page https://cat.eduroam.org/?idp=5059
  4. This page automatically detects your operating system and offers you a file to download. Download this file.
  5. Allow download if asked
  6. Then switch to the Settings -> Profiles
    1. macOS 13 or later: Settings -> Privacy & Security -> Profiles
  7. Under "Loaded" you will find the eduroam profile -> click install
    1. macOS 13 or later: under "Loaded" you will find the eduroam profile -> double click on eduroam -> install -> continue
  8. In the next window enter your login data of your user account and click on install
  9. After the eduroam profile has been successfully installed, please try to connect to eduroam

If your login details are correct, you should now be successfully connected.

Notice: use of eduroam after December 2021

Due to the deactivation of TLS 1.0/1.1 (deprecated since March 2021) only macOS 10.14 or later are capabel to connect to eduroam
