Step-by-step instruction

  1. You have changed your initial password of your user account (you can change it via the user portal )!
  2. Connect your device to the WLAN "gast-ue" (when logging in, go to "Cancel" and select "Use without Internet"!)
  3. Open a browser (like Safari or Google Chrome) and go to the page "cat.eduroam.org"
  4. This page automatically detects your operating system and offers you a file to download. Download this file.
  5. When you are asked to load configuration profile, confirm with allow
  6. Then go to Settings -> General -> VPN and Device Management -> eduroam
  7. Install the profile
  8. Go to the WLAN settings
  9. Before you can connect, please go to the small blue i-symbol next to "eduroam" and deactivate "Private Address" (this feature may cause connection problems)
  10. Finally, go to "eduroam" and enter your login data of your user account

You should now be successfully connected.
