The Professorships of American Literature and British Literature at the University of Erfurt invite students to submit outstanding papers on anglophone literatures completed during the academic year 2025/26 to this year’s Essay Prize competition.
All submissions will be evaluated anonymously in a blind review process by a committee of faculty members. The winning paper will receive a €25 book voucher, generously sponsored by buchbar Erfurt, and will be featured on the University website.
If there is a paper from the past academic year that you feel deserves a little more recognition, we would love to read it. For more information, visit our website.
Deadline: Sunday, 15 November 2026
Please submit your paper to Verena.Ferda@uni-erfurt.de.
