Dr. phil. Gbadebo Collins Adeyanju

Collins Adeyanju is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer (since 2017) at the Department of Media and Communication Science (Health) of the University of Erfurt. He has previously worked with both the Federal Government of Nigeria and international development organizations in Nigeria and Germany. His public policy and public health exposures infuses both impact evaluation of donor-funded intervention projects and using behavioural science tools to understand decision making among vulnerable groups. Currently, he leads the BMBF-funded “MisGenMas Project” on “Understanding Drivers of Misinformation, Gender Disparity and Masculinity on Vaccination Decision-making in Sub-Saharan Africa” and supported by German Alliance for Global Health Research (GLOHRA). The project will contribute to global health research on behavioural science knowledge that enhance evidence-based policy change in the health system and towards promoting positive health-seeking behaviour in the Sub-Saharan Africa region.
