Author talk on the commemoration of Martin Luther King, Jr.

On the occasion of the commemoration of Martin Luther King, Jr. (King Day), the Martin Luther Institute of the University of Erfurt invites all interested parties to a digital guest lecture with Professor Rainer Kessler (Frankfurt/Marburg) on Saturday, 22 January. The event will take the form of an author talk and is entitled "Let justice flow like water and righteousness like a never-ending stream (Amos 5:24)". The event will begin at 6 pm.

The vision of the prophet Amos is probably the biblical passage most quoted by King and thus became an important theological source of his commitment. The reference point is the Amos commentary recently published by Rainer Kessler at Kohlhammer-Verlag. All interested persons are cordially invited. Please register by 21 January, 12 noon, by email to yentl.wolff@uni-erfurt.de. After registration you will receive the access link.
