Students walk on campus

We've launched the Buddy Programme!

Through the Buddy Programme, international exchange and degree-seeking students in Bachelor and Master degrees can get a buddy. For international doctoral students and researchers the tutoring is carried out directly by the respective faculty or the Max Weber Kolleg.

Buddies are experienced local students from the 2nd semester onwards who support new students with their first steps and questions. On the one hand the programme provides international students from the start with help for settling-in. On the other hand, it offers them the opportunity to get conected on campus and experience German culture in its diversity.

Why should I be a Buddy?

  • I will get to know international people
  • I will show them around the city
  • I will help them having a good start 
  • I will acquire intercultural skills
  • I will be awarded a buddy certificate

  • My buddy helps me by the arrival
