Conference in Augsburg: Cornelia Betsch on Behavioral Change in Climate Action

From February 17 to 19, 2025, the German Climate Consortium (DKK) will hold a conference in collaboration with the Center for Climate Resilience at the University of Augsburg. Prof. Dr. Cornelia Betsch will contribute her expertise in health communication to the interdisciplinary discussions.

In recent years, social science climate research in Germany has gained significant importance. To further advance this progress, the DKK, in cooperation with the Center for Climate Resilience at the University of Augsburg, is organizing a conference titled "The Implementation Crisis in Climate Protection and Adaptation – and Possible Solutions." The event aims to bring together leading scientists from various disciplines to bridge the gap between knowledge and action in climate protection.

Prof. Dr. Cornelia Betsch, Director of the Institute for Planetary Health Behaviour and Professor of Health Communication at the University of Erfurt, will participate in a panel discussion alongside experts in communication science and psychology. Together, they will explore the barriers that prevent individuals from making climate-friendly decisions.
